My family photoshoots are 100% child-led - so where they go I will follow. There are no expectations - let your babes run wild, roam free, explore, get messy and just be themselves. We will follow their lead and do what makes them feel most comfortable. Take time to comfort your little ones if they need it and encourage their natural personality to shine through rather than ask them to 'smile' for the camera. My sessions are designed to be fun, relaxed and natural so try not to worry about everything being picture-perfect - we have enough time to allow any tantrums to dissipate and capture some genuine smiles, laughter and sweet intimate moments in-between the chaos. Family life can be a bit messy, children aren't always happy and that's ok! My goal is to capture the essence of your family authentically. I want you to look back on your images years down the line and see their characters shining through the photographs.
There's no heavy posing - as much as possible I like to photograph people unobtrusively. I use simple prompts to create genuine connections over natural play, curiosity and adventure. Letting moments unfold naturally and organically in order to capture you and your little loves authentically.
Before our shoot, we can talk about what you want to remember when you look back on these moments and this season of your life - the way they look to you for reassurance before going off to explore something new, how they entwine their little fingers around yours or look up at you through fluttering eyelids as they nurse, or how they furrow their brow and stick their tongue out as they concentrate. The little moments of motherhood and fatherhood you want to hold on to forever.
The details of them you never want to forget.
So let's go on an adventure! Sandy toes. Dancing amongst the dunes. Jump over the waves. Run through the field of spring flowers. Hunt for toadstools in the forest. Climb a hill. Watch the sunset with a cosy blanket wrapped around you. Make a day of it and choose a meaningful location for you.
Alternatively, we can document you in the comfort of your home. I will candidly capture your family in the place you feel most at home.
Newborn sessions are very relaxed and baby-led with plenty of downtime for feeding, cuddles and soothing. Capturing your new family just as you are in your own environment.
Photographs are like investing in a future gift to our children - not just a way to safeguard our own precious memories.
I've always loved looking at old photographs of my parents when I was just a bump and then as a baby and toddler. To see a glimpse into their world before I can remember - and to see and feel how loved I was.

Pricing is inclusive of my travel expenses within an hour-or-so of Glasgow. Please do inquire if you have a more further-afield location in mind! There may just be an additional cost in order to cover my travel expenses.

I don't limit my galleries to a certain 'count'. I edit and send each and every image to you that I feel adds to the story of our time together.
